Avionics Mobile Services, based in St Albans, UK, is in the final stages of completing a major contract for an unnamed customer in Spain. The contract was awarded to Avionics Mobile last May for the design, supply, installation and certification of the Honeywell Mk VIII EGPWS Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (TAWS).

The contract was for the completion of three Dassault Falcon 20 aircraft, one Cessna Citation Ultra and an IAI Westwind II. “All of the aircraft had different flavours of existing avionics configurations including one aircraft with a Honeywell Multi Function Display Primus 1000 system, which made the integration of the EGPWS to the support systems an interesting and challenging exercise,” said a spokesman for Avionics Mobile.
