Following an article in the August edition of EBAN in which Luxembourg Air Rescue was reported to be the world’s first private air-rescue firm to be certified in accordance with ISO 9002, we would like to draw our readers’ attention to the following assertion from Jim Shumate of Hubschrauber Sonder Dienst (HSD) in Germany.

He told us: “Our company has been ISO 9002 certified for well over two years. We are also a private company that carries out air rescue operations in several locations in Germany.”
