Jet Aviation Kassel has received a German LBA STC for an avionics modification performed on a Citation II. This is the facility’s twelfth STC for an avionics installation project since the beginning of 2002.

The Citation II was equipped with a new Honeywell RDR 2000 weather radar system, which detects rain and moisture in the atmosphere and displays the intensity of storm systems on a monitor.

“This was the fourth avionics installation project performed for the customer, who has five aircraft.

“We are pleased to gain LBA STCs for modifications so we can offer this service not only to this customer,

but also to others,” said Hanno Zagumin, station manager at Jet Aviation Kassel.
