Staff shake-up for Textron, Cessna and Honeywell
Textron has named Steve Loranger, an ex-US Navy pilot with over 3,700 hours of flight time, as executive vp and coo. He will oversee its manufacturing business units, which include Bell Helicopter and Cessna Aircraft.

He joins the company after 21 years at Honeywell, where he most recently served as president and ceo of Honeywell engines.

Meanwhile, Russ Meyer returns to Cessna in his previous role as chairman. He will also continue to serve as interim ceo until a successor to former ceo Gary Hay is found.

Also, Honeywell has named Mike Redenbaugh as acting vp of its engine systems and services business. He will continue as vp and general manager of the company’s propulsion systems enterprise.
