Heli Holland has continued its fleet expansion programme with the addition of a Eurocopter EC 120B. “We purchased the EC 120 brand new, which basically means we have less maintenance costs. Our total fleet now stands at 18 helicopters,” said company director Rene van der Haring.
The company has bases in Holland, Hungary and the Caribbean and is currently enjoying a healthy charter market. The aircraft was bought in response to this increased demand. “It has a vip interior and can hold four passengers along with the pilot. The EC 120B will generally be making transport flights, along with some aerial filming. There is no set flight path, it travels all over the place and I wouldn’t say there was one destination more popular than another,” he added.
According to van der Haring, Heli Holland’s fleet is now the largest of any helicopter charterer’s in Holland. “We still have no plans to manage, because owning our aircraft has proved perfect for our expansion plans. There are no more new additions on the horizon, but the company will react to market demand if it calls for it,” said van der Haring.
