Algerian entrepreneur and airline owner, Rafik Khalifa, has bought a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ).
Khalifa, just 35 years old, has already assembled an airline, a bank and a rent-a-car business. His interests also spread into Europe, where his Khalifa Group is the shirt sponsor of the famous French football club Olympic Marseilles. Furthermore, the company claims to be the first African firm to advertise itself in European football.
Khalifa said: “I chose the BBJ over its competitors not only for its comfort and performance, but also because of the careful attention and knowledge of the Boeing team. The representatives of Boeing Business Jets and Boeing Capital demonstrated a clear understanding of our business and travel requirements. The BBJ will increase our productivity by greatly expanding our ability to travel to locations in Europe, Asia and North America.”
“It is an honour to welcome Rafik Khalifa into the BBJ family, and to locate a new operator in the Mediterranean region,” said BBJ president Lee Monson.
