Tallahasse-based Delta AirElite Business Jets is currently looking for additional alliance partners overseas, including Europe. This coincides with the company’s plan to expand fleet availability, which currently stands at 130 aircraft. The company also owns four aircraft itself, but it is the managed fleet which is being developed.
Corporate communications manager Nick Miller said: “We try and accommodate whatever the customer wants and the nearer the aircraft is based to them, the better.
“Delta AirElite finds in general that the charter and management industries have been extremely fragmented over the years, and it’s the big brand names that are really succeeding. We are now in the position of offering a major brand and that has been very effective in getting the attention of the public.”
