Bombardier has officially opened a new Commercial Service Centre (CSC) at its Mirabel facility. The CSC is dedicated to the service and support of out-of-production de Havilland DHC-1 through 6, as well as Dash 7 aircraft.

“These heritage aircraft represent a significant customer base and history for Bombardier Aerospace. We need to ensure the aircraft operators have the resources to maintain them,” said Jeff Mihalic, general manager of customer services.

“There are over 1,600 de Havilland out-of-production aircraft still in operation.

“Our goal is to ensure that they receive the quality support they require to keep flying for at least another generation,” said Robert Mauracher, vice president of commercial services.
