Air France has installed TEAC America’s corporate DVD player for a head of state Airbus 320 fleet. The manufacturer says the player is unique in offering dual language playback simultaneously from the same DVD.
Said a spokesman: “Our new DVD and Digital File Servers video reproducers are fully ‘plug and play’ compatible with existing tape-based video systems, so they install easily without aircraft rewiring.
“Notably, the corporate DVD player designed for the business and head of state aircraft, is the first production unit to offer full DO-160 compliance including vibration, without deviation.”
