Portuguese charterers send Bravo to Angola
Aeromercado, the Lisbon-based charter company, has dispatched a brand new Citation Bravo to Angola.

Aeromercado, the Lisbon-based charter company, has dispatched a brand new Citation Bravo to Angola. The aircraft will carry out medevac operations, generally flying patients from Angola to Johannesburg.

“We received the aircraft direct from Cessna and then had it configured for medical evacuations. It will join our Citation Ultra and Citation 500, already working there,” said managing director Carlos Dos Reis.

Similar to the rest of the company’s fleet, the Bravo is a managed aircraft. “We are operators but we never buy aircraft in our own name – it’s basically a management deal. We bought it on behalf of another company and it’s currently undergoing registration procedures overseas,” he said.

The aircraft will not be chartered exclusively to just one client, although the company does already have an agreement with Medical Rescue International.
