Business aviation continues to grow as Cardiff celebrates anniversary
Cardiff International Airport recently celebrated its 60th anniversary.

Cardiff International Airport recently celebrated its 60th anniversary. The airport’s sales and marketing manager, Vincent Ray, said: “There has been a significant growth in general aviation movements at Cardiff and as a growing number of companies in South Wales are doing business in international markets, the executive jet is becoming an invaluable tool for many individual and corporate needs.”

Back in September, Execair officially opened its Cardiff International Airport base, the airport’s first ever business aviation centre.

The purpose-built terminal has airside and landside access, dedicated parking for passengers and air crew, a lounge and operations room. The company’s Cardiff division can cater for aircraft from a Cessna 172 to a Boeing 747. Aircraft re-fuelling, catering, cleaning, toilet and water services are also available.
