NetJets Europe has announced that veteran communications professional Charles McLean, has joined the company as director of communications and public affairs.
McLean joins NetJets after serving as director of communications for the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland.
From its London HQ, he will oversee all NetJets’ internal and external communications and will serve as the company’s UK and European spokesman.
NetJets operates more than 450 executive jets in the United States and 34 in Europe.
McLean has a distinguished network news career spanning 15 years. He has covered events such as the release of Nelson Mandela and the Falklands/Malvinas conflicts.
He was awarded an Emmy award for his coverage of the Hong Kong business community reaction to developments in Beijing.
