Contrary to reports in the international press, an EADS spokesperson has denied that the manufacturer is to make a bid for struggling Fairchild Dornier.
“We’ve always said that we’re not interested in returning to the Fairchild aircraft programme and we don’t want to buy supplier business done by the company. EADS has no interest in renewing its contract
with Fairchild Dornier,” said Gregor von Kursell, corporate communications officer.
