Manufacturers of the Centaur amphibious light aircraft, Warrior (Aero-Marine) Ltd, have announced that the computational fluid dynamics results are in and have confirmed the current tail design is correct. Hence the tooling for the last external surfaces can go ahead. Meanwhile, the fuselage patterns are complete and the mould has been post-cured ready for airframe construction.

It is intended that the maiden flight of the Centaur will take place from Old Sarum in the first quarter

of 2003.
