Kent-based operator LyddAir has started both ad-hoc charter flights and scheduled daily services to Le Touquet, France. Said coo Jonathan Gordon: “Charter is really popular for events such as Stag, Hen nights and 21st birthdays, for sporting events such as sand yachting in Le Touquet and for business seminars and conferences.

“To charter a Trislander to Le Touquet and back is £1,200 plus £12.50 per passenger. So if you had 16 passengers (possible with mixed sex and not too much baggage) the cost would work out at £87.50 per head return including airport charges for your own private charter.”

In addition to the Trislander, LyddAir also has a five-seat executive aircraft that is used for quick trips to places such as Amsterdam, Geneva and the Channel Islands.

With regard to the daily scheduled service to Le Touquet, flights depart at 0930 from Lydd Airport and arrive at 1100 local time. Departures from Le Touquet are at 1730 with arrival back at Lydd at 1700 local.
