ExecuJet Scandinavia has signed an agreement with Metro Business Aviation to base a Global Express and Learjet 60 at Stansted Airport. The Learjet arrived at Metro’s facility on May 1 and the Global Express, which is nearing completion, is due in the very near future.
Said a spokesman: “We selected Metro at Stansted to take advantage of the airport’s 24-hour availability. This added to the advantages of being at Metro, of high levels of customer service and real value for money.”
The agreement covers hangarage, aircraft handling, aircraft cleaning and office/storage areas. The spokesman added: “It is hoped that an engineering agreement will be reached to allow Metro to conduct all line maintenance on the aircraft. Metro has Lear 60 and Global Express certification in readiness.”
