Transairco offers AeroJet fuel additive
Shell Aviation has named Transairco General Aviation Center, Geneva, as the latest addition to its Shell AeroJet network.

Shell Aviation has named Transairco General Aviation Center, Geneva, as the latest addition to its Shell AeroJet network. Shell AeroJet is a fuel service for business jets, turboprops and helicopters that purports to minimise the propensity for ice to form within jet fuel by delivering an additive inline with the fuel.

The additive is said also to act as an anti-fungal agent preventing the growth of bacteria.

Christian Janssen, general aviation manager for Shell Aviation in Northern Europe, said: “AeroJet offers something for everyone. It offers the business jet owner peace of mind; it offers the business jet operator added security; and it offers the pilot ease, convenience and safety.”

Luc Duncan of Transairco said: “AeroJet will be particularly well received by those who fly and operate Cessnas, Learjets and Pilatus planes, many of whom require the additive provided by the Shell AeroJet service.”
