The Ukrainian transport minister, Valeriy Pustovoytenko, has signed, on behalf of his country, the Protocol of the revised ‘Eurocontrol’ Convention. This follows the unanimous decision of the Commission, the organisation’s highest political body, to accept Ukraine’s application for accession to Eurocontrol which is the European organisation for the safety of air navigation.

Ukraine will become a full member once it completes the procedure for the ratification of the Organisation’s Convention and the Multilateral Agreement relating to air navigation charges.
