Honeywell names avionics unit chiefs
Honeywell has named three executives to lead the US$4 billion Phoenix-based avionics unit of the company's aerospace business. Michael A Smith, 55, will become president and ceo of what will be called Aerospace Electronic Systems. Under Smith will be Francis W Daly, 42, and Dean M Flatt, 49. Honeywell also announced that all former AlliedSignal Aerospace executives will continue in their current roles. Said Robert Johnson, vp of Honeywell: "Working in conjunction with their staffs, these leaders will play critical roles in shaping the course of Honeywell's aerospace business."
