Rifton Aviation has opened a European sales and customer services office in the UK. The business aviation services company, based at Stewart International Airport near New York, offers charter services in its Gulfstream IV and Citation Excel, and a helicopter shuttle service to avoid the New York traffic. Rifton is opening the office to "facilitate the use of Rifton's services by customers in Europe, the Middle East and the Far East," according to a spokesman. \rKim Comer will be in charge of the European office, which is located at Nonington, Kent; his focus will be on international aircraft sales. Henry Domer, recently transferred from the Stewart FBO, is the point of contact for air charter and ground handling customers.\r"At the moment our prime object is to make corporate and executive customers from the European community aware of the Stewart alternative airport to New York City," Domer told EBAN. \r"We also aim to make our charter aircraft available in Europe and to make our sales and acquisition services known, primarily through advertising and direct mailing in the future, although we have yet to finalise this."
