Flight Inspection System for the Ukraine
The Aerodata Flight Inspection System, which was ordered by the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Service Enterprise, is scheduled to enter service on board a Russian Antonov An-26 aircraft. Two of these aircraft are in operation for flight inspection purposes, are based at Kertsch on the Crimea, and are to cover an operational area from the Ukraine to middle Asia. The delivery of one further system to the Ukraine is expected, Aerodata says.

We acquired two of our leading competitors and now supply in excess of two thirds of the world's flight inspection market. Ukraine is the first success in the former soviet union. This is the first step in the door; the Eastern European market is still difficult because of the monetary situation."
