Raytheon Aircraft to offer two avionics packages for Baron 58
Starting in early 2000, two avionics packages will be available from Raytheon for the Baron 58. The standard avionics package will feature: PS Engineering PMA7000M-S audio panel-intercom system, dual Garmin 430 nav/comm/gps moving map systems with glideslope, AlliedSignal's KFC 225 autopilot/ flight director with KCS 55A HSI/ compass system, the RDR 2000VP colour weather radar and the Shadin ADC 200 fuel/ airdata computer.

Starting in early 2000, two avionics packages will be available from Raytheon for the Baron 58. \rThe standard avionics package will feature: PS Engineering PMA7000M-S audio panel-intercom system, dual Garmin 430 nav/comm/gps moving map systems with glideslope, AlliedSignal's KFC 225 autopilot/ flight director with KCS 55A HSI/ compass system, the RDR 2000VP colour weather radar and the Shadin ADC 200 fuel/ airdata computer.\rIn addition, Raytheon will offer an optional AlliedSignal avionics package for the piston product line. This will include: KMA 26 audio amplifier/ intercom system, dual KX 155A nav/comms with glideslope, KLN 90B gps navigation system, KN 63 DME, KR 87 ADF, KT 76C transponder and KFC 225 autopilot/ flight director with KCS 55A HSI compass system. This standard package, along with an AlliedSignal avionics package, will give our Baron customers a high degree of situational awareness, an increased level of safety and more operational flexibility," said Brad Hatt, vp, worldwide Beech sales. \r"Raytheon avionics will continue to review the package that we are offering."
