Raytheon has completed wing up-bending tests for the Premier I to 150 per cent of the design load limit, which is known as ultimate load. "The actual load applied during the test was 19 tons. The Premier I's all wet wing easily withstood the resulting wing deflection of more than two feet," said a spokesman for Raytheon.
