The FAA has granted RVSM group approval for the Cessna 525 CitationJet. RVSM compliance requires the incorporation of service bulletin SB525-34-41, which Cessna expect will be available in March. This includes the required data package and two Honeywell/ AMETEK AM-250 combined altimeter air data computer units. RVSM approval allows operators to fly north Atlantic and Pacific routes at optimum altitudes. It will also allow CitationJets to fly within Eurocontrol airspace, which will require RVSM approval as of January, 2002.
