BAe 146 is rebranded to fit new company identity
A BAe 146-100 operated by the corporate air travel department of BAe Systems is the first aircraft to be painted in the new company identity, as pictured above. In addition to its use on scheduled operations, the BAe 146 has been used for shuttle work to the Paris Air Show, in support of a sales tour of the Far East and extensively to transport heads of state and vips around the UK and Europe.

A BAe 146-100 operated by the corporate air travel department of BAe Systems is the first aircraft to be painted in the new company identity, as pictured above. \rIn addition to its use on scheduled operations, the BAe 146 has been used for shuttle work to the Paris Air Show, in support of a sales tour of the Far East and extensively to transport heads of state and vips around the UK and Europe. It is configured with a double club-four seating arrangement forward with airline style seats for 58 passengers in the rear.\rCaptain 'Nobby' Clark, head of BAe Systems' corporate air travel, said: "This aircraft is a really versatile workhorse. Last year it flew 900 hours, which is high for a corporate shuttle operation. Around 17,000 passengers flew on it and it carried £28 million worth of freight. This year we are planning to refurbish the cabin of the aircraft and to install a set of airstairs at the forward passenger door." \rBAe Systems says there is an emerging corporate market for the BAe 146/Avro RJ family and its asset management arm is anticipating the release of a limited number of aircraft from its portfolio over the next two to three years.\rPreviously, the company has sold aircraft to Formula One Administration Limited of the UK and to Moncreif Oil Company of Texas. Completion centres in the UK and Canada have been identified to undertake future design and conversions of airliner BAe 146s and Avro RJs to corporate shuttle or full corporate interiors.
