Marshall Aerospace is to provide interior completions for Bombardier's Global Express aircraft at its Cambridge, UK facility. TRACE Aircraft Completion of Biggin Hill, UK will work closely with Marshall to provide design, engineering and manufacturing expertise. The move follows Marshall's selection in 1998 as a Global Express service facility.\rThe Jet Centre of Van Nuys, USA has also been selected to host Global Express completion facilities. Under these agreements, Marshall and the Jet Centre will design, build and install interior completions under subcontract from Bombardier, who will station several employees at both facilities to monitor work. \rSaid Robert Gillespie, president of Bombardier Aerospace: "Marshall Aerospace and the Jet Centre will complete four aircraft each next year, with a potential of accepting more if required. These additions, together with Bombardier facilities in Montreal and Tucson, will increase our interior completion capability to 46 Global Express aircraft annually and give our customers more flexibility and choice."\rMarshall employs more than 2,000 personnel including 200 design specialists and 75 technical specialists, and currently holds both JAA and FAA accreditation.
