Aeroleasing of Berlin improved its position from ninth last year to second place this year, in the EBAN annual FBO feedback survey. It scored third highest in customer service, professionalism and crew facilities, high scores for an FBO that says it only employs four senior staff. \rEBAN spoke to Sebastian Pingel, operations manager at Aeroleasing, about the company's accolade: "We try to take care of everything in advance, like customs clearance, fuelling, limousines. I am a professional dispatcher, my colleague Derek is a pilot - we know the business well.\r"So why the increase from ninth to second place? I think maybe last year we were confused with another company!" Pingel added.\rAeroleasing's future plans are to take advantage of increased business owing to the establishment of the German government in Berlin, and to clinch the number one rating next year. \rAeroleasing Berlin is one of a raft of FBOs, including Farnborough, recently acquired by TAG Aviation. The FBO's name will change from Aeroleasing to TAG Berlin in the near future.
