Antwerp Airport has just started its "Feedback 2000" quality prog-ramme, devised to "monitor quality of service and in so doing, look after the needs of the business aviation customer".\rPaul Van Krunkelsven, commercial advisor regional airports for the ministry of the Flemish community, told EBAN: "We are known in the market as the 'friendly and fast airport' with easy access, we are known for comfort, and for very fast ground times and turnarounds. With reference to this survey, it will be closed, analysed and the results published by the end of this year."\rAntwerp Airport is located four kilometres from the city centre, in the industrial area, and boasts a catchment area of about 22,500 companies, including the world diamond trade. It welcomes all manner of business aircraft, from Citations to Gulfstreams.\rOf the airport's operations, Van Krunkelsven said: "There are no penalties during peak hours, no penalties on MTOW-criteria. On the contrary, it is an excellent alternative to Brussels. We offer the first six parking hours free of charge. Airport landing and take-off fees are also very competitive."\rVan Krunkelsven added that business aviation has been on the increase since 1997. He said: "You may take a handling agent if you wish, but all facilities are available for operators to do their own aircraft handling, with less than 50 per cent asking assistance of an agent [mostly done by Aviapartners]."\rFor vip customers, special arrangements can be made on request.
