Nuremberg-based Citation operator FAI Airservice has announced that it has been selected by NetJets as its first approved vendor in Germany.\rThe deal means that the charter company will back up NetJets' European fleet.\rIts Citation II and Citation V will be available in the event of the fractional ownership fleet being fully booked. "NetJets came to us because we have flown for their European business, ExecuJet, several times in the past," said Siegfried Axtmann of FAI. \r"Now they have started the official approval in Europe for their future vendors. Because of our relationship in the past, we were chosen through the approval process, which was a big inspection.\r"You need flight safety-trained pilots, special status of your aircraft, your maintenance facility is checked."\rThe audit was held on February 14. FAI Airservice fly ad hoc charter for companies located in the west of Germany, as well as air ambulance, last minute cargo and organ transplants.
