Britten-Norman has concluded a deal with United Arab Emirates-based engineering group HSPD that will give it a minority shareholding in the British aircraft company. \rThe deal will also result in the formation of Britten-Norman Middle East, based in Dubai. The new division will engage in aircraft sales, marketing, leasing, maintenance, support and flight training, and will be launched by the end of March.\rHSPD has a portfolio of over 35 companies which include leisure, tourism, pharmaceuticals, manu-facturing and the oil industry. Its vice president Dr Hossam Elshazly signed the deal with Britten-Norman's chief executive Paul Bartlett.
