Rockwell Collins has appointed John-Paul Besong vice president of electronic business. He will be responsible for developing and managing the company's e-commerce from a new dedicated office. \rBesong reports to president Clay Jones, who said of the new department: "Electronic business integrates technology and expertise to serve customers as they adopt digital innovations to enhance traditional business methods. As a focused, enterprise-wide office, Rockwell Collins' electronic business will assess and establish the best use of technology for providing increased customer value."\rBesong has been with the company for 20 years, most recently as enterprise resource planning executive. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in chemical engineering.
