Jet Aviation Basel is outfitting its first Airbus 319 Corporate Jetliner and has recently finished its exterior paint. The A319CJ has received a vip interior to accommodate 28 passengers. The aircraft is scheduled for delivery in March.\rAt the same time, the facility is completing an Airbus 320 as a Corporate Jetliner. Its cabin has a 13-seat vip area in the forward section and a seating capacity for 35 passengers and crew in the aft. The A320 is to be delivered in late summer this year.\rAlso during the summer, the company will be starting another A319CJ project. The aircraft will come out of Airbus production by the end of May and be delivered to Jet Aviation Basel painted in the colour scheme of the customer. The corporate cabin will offer single seats for 34 passengers and the company says that fully berthable seats can be turned into a total of eight beds. Delivery of the aircraft is expected for autumn 2000.\rTurning to BBJs, Jet Aviation Basel is on the verge of delivering its second completed BBJ. Its vip cabin interior has a seating capacity for 19 passengers and five crew, and special features include a blend of mahogany and cherry wood veneers for the cabinetry and wireless touch control panels for cabin.\rA third BBJ outfitting project is the production of a corporate interior for 35 passengers and a crew of maximum 12, which is expected for delivery in late summer this year. A spokesman for Jet Aviation Basel said: "All the design work we have done for this completion follows the Zen philosophy of simplicity, symmetry and a combination of beige and green colours.\rMeanwhile, Jet Aviation has added a new Gulfstream V to its management fleet. This is the company's sixth GV in operation and is based in Europe.\rWhile the Gulfstream V was outfitted and painted by the company's Basel facility, Jet Aviation coordinated design and engineering for the vip interior in cooperation with Gulfstream Aerospace. In this way, it complies with FAA regulations for a Supplemental Type Certificate providing seats and divans for fifteen passengers, all certified to 16 g.
