Southend Handling has declared itself a 'creditable and efficient organisation,' having handled in one evening, and with little or no delay, 15 flights which were diverted to London Southend airport. These included a BAe 146 carrying Tottenham Hotspur football team from Newcastle, in the UK's north east region.\rThe airport introduced Southend Handling last November to offer a range of services to, among others, executive aircraft.
