Inflite Engineering Ltd and Universal Aviation (UK) Limited, a unit of Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc., have recently announced a co-operative agreement between the two service providers. The purpose of the arrangement is to support the increased growth of business aviation traffic at London Stansted airport "while providing the client with an exceptional level of customer service". \rThe companies say the agreement will allow the customer to access an extensive list of services that can be contracted through either company. These services include, but are not limited to, lounge facilities, engineering support, flight support, flight planning, worldwide handling, and contracted fuel arrangements.\rBoth Universal and Inflite will continue operating independent ramp handling to support their existing clients. Under this arrangement, both companies will treat each other as preferred suppliers for any services or support that may be required of the other. \r"We are delighted with the prospect of working more closely with the Inflite team," said Theresa Wooll, managing director of Universal Aviation (UK). "Universal celebrates 40 years in business this year, giving our combined team over 65 years of business aviation experience. Our relationship with Inflite will allow both companies to offer an unmatched range of services to operators flying to the London area." \rPenny Stephens, managing director of Inflite, commented: "Inflite is a family business with a depth of experience ranging from the manufacture of aircraft parts, structures, and heavy maintenance to vip passenger and aircraft handling. "This cooperative agreement with Universal, a company of equally impressive history and commitment to the aviation industry, provides both organisations with an opportunity to expand our list of services and provide clients with the best possible quality service and handling."
