Multiflight begins development programme at Leeds Bradford
Multiflight, the aircraft engineering, flight training and charter company, has acquired Yorkshire Light Aircraft Limited (YLA). The purchase of YLA, which has a long history of providing overhaul and repair services at Leeds Bradford airport, is the first stage of Multiflight's investment programme to develop facilities on the south side of the airport.

Multiflight, the aircraft engineering, flight training and charter company, has acquired Yorkshire Light Aircraft Limited (YLA). \rThe purchase of YLA, which has a long history of providing overhaul and repair services at Leeds Bradford airport, is the first stage of Multiflight's investment programme to develop facilities on the south side of the airport.\rYLA employs 25 staff at its 36,500 square foot facility. It is an authorised agent for the Teledyne and Lycoming engines used in a wide range of light aircraft. \rCommenting on the acquisition, Steve Borrowdale, managing director of Multiflight, said: "This purchase ideally compliments the skills of our engineering division which specialises in executive jet and helicopter engineering, associated part sales, fuelling and hangarage services."
