Bishop looks for partners
Hamburg’s Bishop GmbH - Aeronautical Engineers says it is looking for partners to help develop its invention – the Flexible Seat Arrangement System (FSAS).

Hamburg’s Bishop GmbH - Aeronautical Engineers says it is looking for partners to help develop its invention – the Flexible Seat Arrangement System (FSAS).

The FSAS consists of an electrical servo driven development of the aircraft seat attachment stud. The FSAS studs fit into the existing standard seat rails and are controlled by a centralised computer control unit. The locking of the seat studs is achieved using pin electromagnets, and is announced by a link to the cabin attendance light.

Said a spokesman: “The laborious task of dismantling each set stud is executed at the press of a switch.”
