Jet Aviation’s European charter division was recently challenged to arrange a one-day charter trip to five cities in three different countries. The request was made one day prior to flight time.
The originated from the Geneva-Cointrin Airport and required four business stops at the Bologna and Milan Linate, Italy, airports, and at the Deauville and Le Bourget, France, airports and then back to Geneva, Switzerland. The trip required that the Citation II take off and land five times that day with flight time not exceeding one and a half hours per leg.
“This flight could not have been performed in one day with a commercial airline and would have last at least three days, flying and waiting in airports,” said René Meier, ground operations manager.
