ACE 2026 - The home of global charter.
The bimonthly news publication for aviation professionals.
The 2002 EBACE convention will commence on May 28 at the Palexpo Conference Center in Geneva, Switzerland. This follows on from last year’s successful launch of what is the only European exhibition of its size to focus solely on business aviation. The opening general session will be moderated by EBAA chairman Brian Humphries and NBAA president Jack Olcott.
By comparison with last year’s event, exhibit space has increased by 17 per cent, with 550 indoor booth spaces. The number of exhibiting companies has also increased by 13 per cent to 214 companies and 36 aircraft are scheduled to appear in the static display at Geneva International Airport.
Concluding on May 30, EBACE will address the issues of European-based operators, operators flying to Europe and non-operators who can benefit from the use of aircraft for business. Many of the major players in the industry have also stated their intentions to make major announcements at the exhibition.
It has already been announced that Richard Gooding, managing director of London City Airport, and Jean-Pierre Jobin, director general of Geneva International Airport, are the 2002 recipients of the European Business Aviation Awards. The presentation will take place on the evening of May 29 at a reception and banquet.
