Finland’s Airfix Aviation will soon be offering a Falcon 2000 to its charter customers after negotiating a management contract to operate the aircraft.
It will be delivered at the end of July and located in Geneva, from where the company expects it to fly worldwide.
Communications co-ordinator Lotta Huuhka told EBAN: “The company only started commercial flights at the end of last year and things have been moving along very well.
“Our fleet already consists of two Citation Xs, a Lear 45 and two turboprops.
“As things stand right now, there are no plans to buy any more aircraft.”
Airfix Aviation was founded in 1986 as a maintenance facility and claims to maintain a considerable proportion of the business aircraft in Finland.
A spokesperson added: “We also provide ground services, spare part sales, hangar space and ambulance flights.”
The company has 40 employees and has over the years merged with other aviation enterprises such as Cloudex, Metrojet and last autumn with Airdeal.
