Signature establishes authorised Premier I support in Europe
Signature’s facility at London Luton has received delivery of its second Premier I, establishing Signature as one of Europe’s pioneer authorised service centres for the aircraft.

Signature’s facility at London Luton has received delivery of its second Premier I, establishing Signature as one of Europe’s pioneer authorised service centres for the aircraft. It arrived from the US in May and will be followed by several more of the type into the UK over the next 18 months and beyond.

Lynton Aviation Aircraft Sales, a subsidiary company within the Signature network, reports great success in introducing the aircraft to the UK market.

The six-passenger Premier I is the first composite-fuselage business jet. Signature commented that the aircraft’s design is such that the maintenance requirements and the ease of access to check and test systems is a major step forward.

Meanwhile, as EBAN goes to press, Bournemouth’s CSE-Citation Centre has announced the completion of 21 RVSM installations to date.

Additional hangar space has been set aside by the Signature-owned company to cope with the volume of work. Together with a higher than expected volume of scheduled work, it says it has had an excellent first half of 2002.

New premises were opened in July 2000 and the company recently extended its JAR 145 approval for the 650 range of aircraft.

It will also add the Citation X for line maintenance to support existing customers who have upgraded

their aircraft.

A spokesman said: “These additional approvals, though not part of the Citation Service Centre approval, are part of the company’s growth strategy, dedicated to servicing the Citation range of aircraft.”
