Horizon Swiss Flight Academy has been given the green light to offer theoretical training from private to airline pilots through their e-learning platform.

For the last 15 months, Horizon has been offering the Virtual PPL School – a CD-ROM based theoretical distance learning course with e-learning support over the internet. “Classroom instruction is greatly reduced to about one fifth of a conventional ATPL course, which is a great advantage,” said Bruno Dobler, founder and chairman of the board of Horizon Swiss Flight Academy.
