Jeppesen’s International Trip Planning Services (ITPS) unit is to waive its $90 ground handling set-up fee and offer other discounts to clients travelling to the 2002 FIFA World Cup being held in Japan

and Korea.

Jeppesen is waiving the set-up fee for the first location in Japan or Korea that a client visits. In addition, Jeppesen trip planning and handling partners are offering additional discounts to the company’s clients including permit assistance fees and jet fuel costs.

In other news, Jeppesen has updated its FliteStar/ FliteMap flight planning and moving map applications.

The latest release, version 8.5, features enhancements to its GPS-direct router, a more intuitive organisation of chart features, and newly added weather animation capabilities.
