Paris-based Medic’Air International has recorded a 100 per cent increase in air ambulance activity between January and April of this year, as compared with the same period last year.
Ops manager Simonetta Sandri told EBAN: “We have improved our utilisation of trijet air ambulances for long range flights, in particular the Falcon 50.
The trijets are very important for our work because there are no ETOPS constraints, they’re reliable, comfortable to work in and crew rest is often not necessary because of more direct flights, a wider cabin and three pilots can be available on the same aircraft.
“We have also presented a new image of the company to our customers, which involves better press relations and the evolution of our communication policy.”
