Execair has become the first executive aircraft handler at Bournemouth International Airport.
Bournemouth is the company’s eleventh station in Europe. It joins Aberdeen, Birmingham, Brussels, Cardiff, Charleroi, Dublin, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Inverness and Prague in the Execair network.
David Best, commercial director of Execair, said: “We are confident that by offering specialist handling services, we will help Bournemouth International attract more executive aircraft flights. As part of our commitment to the airport, we will be opening a new lounge for executive jet customers.”
Managing director at the airport Glyn Jones said: “With easy surface transport access to London, south and central England, there is considerable potential for executive aviation here. In addition, the length of our runway means we can accommodate virtually any size of aircraft in any weather conditions.”
