ACE 2026 - The home of global charter.
The bimonthly news publication for aviation professionals.
A Russian businessman has taken delivery of a Falcon 900EX, which will be operated by the Russian subdivision of Swiss Global Aviation. The client apparently purchased the EX as a replacement for his locally-manufactured aircraft.
“I believe he made the upgrade due to range, speed and comfort requirements. Personally I think this is the best aircraft on the market in its class, but of course it’s not a Global Express or a GV.
“And I think this is why Dassault have now decided to manufacture the 7X model, which I’m sure will be absolutely the best aircraft on the market,” said director of sales, Mauricio Dellocchio.
The company’s Russian division now operates two Hawker 700s as well as the Falcon 900EX for domestic clients, although none are available for charter. “I believe the owner will be using the EX for business purposes and it will be flying worldwide.
“It’s an ideal transatlantic aircraft, it offers you the possibility of performing flights that you can’t do with a GIV, a Challenger 604 or even a Falcon 900B.
“Overall the Falcon 900EX combines affordability with performance. This particular aircraft is configured for 10 passengers, so it’s very spacious.
“The interior was specially designed to meet the customer’s demands, everything you can imagine is in there: Satcom, Satfax and special security systems,” said Dellocchio.
With a range of around 4,500 nautical miles, the aircraft is ideal for overnight flights. He added: “The cabin is divided in two and the back of the cabin can be separated from the main cabin and converted into a king-size bed.”
