Airlift A/S of Sweden has reached agreement to acquire a 100 per cent shareholding in Osterman Helicopter Göteborg AB, reports Police Aviation News. Pending approval of the transaction by the respective boards and compliance with a number of conditions, the deal was to have been be completed some time during March. Following the takeover, Airlift A/S qualifies as one of the largest Nordic helicopter companies. Based in Foerde, the company has a number of long-term contracts covering rescue services on Svalbard.
