Jet Aviation’s facilities in London Biggin Hill and Dusseldorf have been named as authorised service centres by Embraer for the Legacy. The two facilities are the first European service centres to join Embraer’s network of worldwide Legacy service centres.
The first Legacy deliveries to the European market occurred in March. The Legacy is manufactured in two versions; the executive (outfitted for ten to 15 passengers) and the corporate shuttle (seating up to 19 passengers). Thomas M Hirschmann, Jet Aviation’s chairman and ceo said: “We are currently sending key maintenance personnel to Brazil for training on the Legacy airframe and electrical systems, so that we will be ready.” Artur Coutinho, Embraer’s executive vp of customer support, said: “This agreement continues our strategic partnership with Jet Aviation. Last year the West Palm Beach facility was the first Jet Aviation location to become a Legacy service centre.”
