Signature Aircraft Engineering Oxford has launched ‘Signature Fast’ – an immediate response, mobile engineering service. Said to be comparable to the UK’s AA breakdown service, a hotline connects the customer directly with a team of engineers who then travel to fix the aircraft in situ.

“We are launching this service as a direct response to the needs expressed by our customers,” said Steve Jones, SAE Oxford’s new managing director. “Signature Fast will provide a value for money, hassle-free and immediate doorstep service.”

Oxford will be the launch site, but Jones intends to have a number of satellite teams operating across

the UK within the next twelve months, the first most likely in the North West. Customers will be issued a membership card providing incentives to use the services and spares from Signature’s Oxford base.
