Lufttransport has won a government-backed contract to shuttle sea captains to and from their vessels in its native Norway.

The company will dedicate an Agusta Power 109 helicopter for the flights, which will net the company an estimated 80 million Norwegian Krona.

Spokesman Geir-Arne Sorensen told EBAN: “This is a first time contract for us and it will stretch out over the next five years. It will involve either hoisting the captains or actually landing on the boat.”
