The Falcon 900 EX s/n 97, the EASy cockpit development aircraft, made its maiden flight recently from Dassault’s Merignac facility.

The EASy cockpit contains four large screens which display all information from aircraft sensors affecting systems, com-munications, navigation and flight management.

A spokesperson said: “This new flight deck, which has been in development at Dassault for many years, is a major evolutionary step in cockpit technology for business jets and commercial aviation.” The cockpit will be progressively introduced in other Falcons, notably in the Falcon 2000EX in 2004 and in the Falcon 7X in 2006.
